1. Introduction & Commitment to Privacy

DoAção (Donation Tracker) was developed by Vítor Bruno with the sole mission of encouraging voluntary donation of blood, platelets, and plasma, simplifying the tracking of donation intervals and health eligibility in a secure, respectful, and ethical manner.

We fundamentally believe that your health records and personal data belong exclusively to you. For this reason, DoAção was architected from the ground up under the principle of Privacy by Design and a strict Local-First paradigm: the app operates fully autonomously on your device, without requiring cloud account creation, without collecting data on external servers, and without any behavioral tracking.

2. What Data is Processed and Why

To deliver its core features, the application allows you to voluntarily record the following information on your own device:

  • Donor Profile: Blood type (ABO group and Rh factor), biological sex, and date of birth.
    Purpose: Essential to calculate official minimum donation intervals (for example: 60 days for men and 90 days for women for whole blood donations) and provide accurate personalized statistics.
  • Donation History: Date of donation, procedure type (whole blood, platelets, plasma), volume collected in milliliters (mL), blood center/facility name, experience rating, and personal notes.
    Purpose: Personal organization and chronological donor history tracking.
  • Photos & Receipts: Optional celebratory photos or donation receipts attached to specific donation logs.
    Purpose: Visual personal record kept strictly inside the app's local sandbox storage.
  • Geographic Location (Foreground Only): GPS coordinates retrieved solely when you interact with the nearby blood center locator.
    Purpose: Calculate distance and render map directions to the nearest blood banks.

3. Secure On-Device Storage (iOS Sandbox)

All data described above is stored exclusively inside your iOS device's local storage, protected by Apple's secure application sandbox and hardware-backed operating system encryption.

We do not operate backend cloud databases to store your profile or health logs. Your data travels only with the backups that you personally configure within your Apple ecosystem (such as encrypted iCloud Backups or local encrypted Mac/Finder backups).

4. Operating System (iOS) Permissions

To enable specific optional features, DoAção may request explicit system permissions in iOS. Below is the full description and privacy safeguard for each:

Local Notifications
UserNotifications 		Notifies the donor when their regulatory waiting interval ends and they become eligible to donate again. Notifications are scheduled 100% locally through iOS system APIs, with zero reliance on remote push servers.

You can revoke or modify any of these permissions at any time by going to Settings > DoAção on your iPhone or iPad.

5. Security, No Data Selling & Zero Tracking

Our core values are built on respect and ethical software development:

  • Zero Data Selling: DoAção does not sell, rent, monetize, or transfer your personal or health data to insurance companies, hospitals, data brokers, or any commercial entities.
  • No Advertisements or Behavioral Profiling: The app does not contain third-party banner ads, popups, or targeted advertising networks.
  • No Invasive Tracking SDKs: We do not integrate third-party analytics libraries that perform device fingerprinting or cross-app tracking.

6. User Rights (GDPR / LGPD) & Complete Data Deletion

In full alignment with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD - Law 13,709/2018), and Apple Developer Guidelines:

  • Access & Rectification: You can view, modify, or update any profile and donation record directly within the app interface at any time.
  • Permanent Data Deletion: You have complete control to delete individual records inside the app. When you uninstall the app from your iOS device, all records, photos, histories, and preferences stored in the local sandbox are immediately and permanently erased by the operating system.
  • Portability & Backup: Your data remains under your full sovereignty via your encrypted Apple backups.

Important Health Notice

The DoAção (Donation Tracker) app is strictly a personal utility and tracking tool. The app DOES NOT provide medical diagnoses, does not prescribe treatments, does not replace professional consultation, and cannot guarantee clinical approval for donation.

The ultimate determination of donor eligibility is the sovereign clinical responsibility of the healthcare and screening team at the blood center on the day of the procedure.
